Pilot Leads Application Process (September 2026)

Complete the self-nominations email template below and send it to info@merseysidetranscouncil.com.

Applications are open from 20th July 2026 until 24th August 2026.

Shortlisting will take place on 1st September 2026. Co-organisers will review self-nominations, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed, as well as any other relevant criteria around eligibility. Where there are a high number of applicants, we may have to shortlist most suitable candidates on merit.

The lead positions are 1. Trans Masc, 2. Trans Fem, 3. Non-Binary, Gender Fluid & Intersex, 4. Global Majority & Migrant and 5. Disability & Neurodiversity. You can only apply for two at most.

Note: Individuals should be of good standings within the local trans+ community. Any concerns will likely result in being considered ineligible for a leads role.

I confirm that I have considered and reflected upon my lived experience, and my suitability for the lead position(s) I am putting myself forward for.

I confirm that I have read and understood the Pre-Existing Authority Clause and considered if this applies to me.

I confirm that I am someone of a reasonably good standing within the Trans+ community.

I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the Pilot Leads Structure.
